From August 15th to 17th, more than 30 faculty members from universities across China gathered at Suzhou Institute of Technology in Changshu for an engineering talent development workshop jointly organized by B&R and the university. This "B&R Young Teachers Program" aims to strengthen university-enterprise collaboration, bring industry-based engineering training systems into the classroom, and jointly explore new models for integrating industry and education in the development of engineering talent.
At the opening ceremony on August 15th, Professor Xu Huigang, Vice President of Suzhou Institute of Technology, delivered a speech. He said:
"Suzhou Institute of Technology has always adhered to the talent cultivation philosophy of 'focusing on general knowledge and integrating with industry,' with the goal of cultivating application-oriented talents.
Hosting the B&R Young Teachers Program - Engineering Talent Training Workshop is an innovative initiative in the collaborative education model of industry-university integration. We hope that both the university
and the enterprise can work closely together to strengthen the key links of industry-university integration, further expand areas of cooperation, explore diversified paths for university-enterprise collaboration,
continuously improve the quality of talent cultivation and industry service capabilities, and inject new impetus into the high-quality development of the regional economy."
